Intense pulsed light (IPL) works by producing high intensity light over short periods of time.
Who can benefit from laser hair removal?
Anyone can have their hair removed by laser technology providing it contains melanin (the exception to this are people with dark brown and black skin who, typically, are not good candidates for laser treatment.) Naturally red and light blonde hair colours do not act as a target for the laser and cannot effectively be treated. Gray hair also lacks the necessary pigment for the laser. This is why it is important to treat unwanted hair before it turns gray.

From which areas of the body can I have hair removed?
Hair can be removed from virtually any area of the body using IPL technology. Pricing is based on the size of the body area and is quoted by individual session or package of sessions.
How many sessions do I need?
Multiple sessions are required to rid the body of hair on a permanent basis and it is more economical to purchase a package rather than to pay for individual sessions. The number of sessions needed depends on the size of the area being treated and the “strength” of an individual’s hair follicles.

What do I need to do to promote successful treatment results?
- Please shave the area(s) to be treated for hair removal and skin care the day before your treatment. (This applies to both genders);
- Do not wax between treatments;
- Do not tan for at least two weeks before any treatment (ideally, avoid tanning for a minimum of three weeks before any treatment);
- After any kind of skin treatment, give the area 24 hours to breathe. After this, use a 30 SPF or higher sun screen.
